Kim Storey, CNM

An Atlanta native, Kim Storey, always knew she wanted to be a nurse midwife and birth babies. She first received her registered nurses diploma in Atlanta from Georgia Baptist School of Nursing and has since gone on to devote over 20 years to the women’s health profession. During that time, she has come to deliver countless babies and fulfill her own passions by helping others.

As a member of the ISIS OB/GYN family, Kim will provide comprehensive care to gynecological, obstetrical, antepartum, intrapartum and postpartum clients.  As one of the only water birth experts in the metro Atlanta area, Kim’s specialty is in the facilitation of tub births. She believes tub births are an excellent method of delivery due to the relaxing effect the water has on the laboring woman. Since growing in popularity over the last decade, Kim has had an opportunity to deliver hundreds of babies in the water at North Fulton Hospital.

Kim is active in the community. As an advocate against domestic violence she supports The National Coalition against Domestic Violence. She also participates in other social and family causes like the Atlanta Area Down Syndrome Association. Kim is the mother of four sons ranging in age from 7 to 30 years old, and she now lives in Alpharetta with her husband and youngest son.
