Sherry Nored, CNM
Considered a true Southern native, Sherry Nored has been in the women's health field for over 30 years; first practicing as a nurse in Mississippi then as a certified nurse midwife in Metro Atlanta.
With over three decades of experience under her belt, there isn't much that Sherry hasn't seen. Her extensive background working in rural areas early in her career helped to develop her midwifery skills and also stretch her depth of knowledge. While now she specializes in natural childbirth methods, she believes in educating women so that they can make the best choices for their personal circumstances.
As a member of the ISIS OB/GYN family, Sherry will provide comprehensive care to gynecological, obstetrical, antepartum, intrapartum and postpartum clients. She will facilitate water births at North Fulton Hospital and serve with Kim Storey as ISIS Ob/Gyn's experts in natural childbirth.
Sherry is heavily involved in the community. She co-founded No One Alone, an active women's shelter in Dahlonega, GA that helps victims of abuse. She also participates in several medical mission trips to Central America, providing basic nursing services as well as her midwifery expertise.
Sherry is the mother of three, and she now lives in Dahlonega, GA.
